Since the Spring of 2001, FORM has touched many students' lives including those with injuries and disabilities, high-performance athletes, professional women, and families with children. FORM is enjoyed most fully when it is practiced in the beauty of nature. Our filmmaking captures the pristine coastline from Washington to California and is inspired by the Sermon on the Mount, Psalm 23 and other Scripture.
In FORM, we contemplate:
Freedom - Being unburdened, peaceful, and free.
Order - Facing challenges with faith
Renewal - Receiving God's love and filling our minds with God's Word
Meditative Movement - Moving in grace inspired by truth

With the practice of FORM we center on passages from the Bible.
As Jesus speaks to us in the passages from The Sermon on the Mount, we can follow Him and be transformed into a life that brings us closer to abiding with God - the blessed life.
The Beatitudes open The Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5:1-12)
Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (Presence)
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. (Longing) Blessed are the humble and gentle, for they shall inherit the earth. (Expectation) Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled. (Abundant) Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. (Sanctity) Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. (Union) Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called people of God. (Radiance) Blessed are those who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (Endures)
Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. (Contentment) He makes me lie down in green pastures, (Serenity) he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. (Restoration) He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. (Guidance) Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; (Courage) your rod and your staff, they comfort me. (Trust) You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. (Justice) You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. (Gratitude) Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, (Persevering Love) and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. (Grace)
Galatians 5:22-3, "the Fruit of the Spirit is
love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control."
Matthew 22:37-39
Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind.
And, love your neighbor as yourself. (Balance)
Isaiah 40:31
Those who hope on the Lord will renew their strength, they will soar on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. (Soaring Free in God's love)

About the Founder
Kathryn LInehan empowers people through teaching and leading retreats. With an eye for capturing light through the lens, she finds inspiration through the creation of film. As a follower of Christ with an active ministry of praying for healing and transformation, she blends insights into physical well being with scriptural study and meditation.
Under the direction of Priscilla MacRae, Ph.D. Professor of Sports Medicine at Pepperdine University, Kathryn is honing her understanding of physical and cognitive aspects of exercise. Inspired by Dallas Willard and his daily practice of meditation on Psalm 23 and encouraged by Jane Willard to create a video, the DVD series was introduced at Renovare's international conference in 2005. While FORM was becoming established, she served as Managing Director of the American Repertory Dance Company and worked with prominent dancers and choreographers. Kathryn also created benefit concerts with Lisbeth Scott renowned as the lead vocalist in numerous films including: "Shrek"; "The Passion of The Christ"; and "Munich". In seeking to build bridges for people to better understand one another she helped create the feature-length documentary film and online community "Voices in Wartime".
Over the course of 10 years, Kathryn placed video cameras in the hands of youth throughout the world. She formed a non-profit collaborative of 20 organizations to showcase young filmmakers' work which premiered at Paramount Studios. Her short film "Children of Afghanistan" was screened at the Sundance Film Festival in 2001. The Los Angeles Times heralded the film, "as one of the most compelling stories of the festival." (see LA Times, "Looking to Harness the Power of the Lens" by Robert Welkos).
With the intention to bring wellness to a wide range of people, Kathryn promoted FRS, the healthy energy drink in support of the LIVESTRONG Foundation's events. She also created the "buzz" on numerous sets of film and TV shows, the Habitat for Humanity initiatives, and programs that inspire LA inner city youth to create a healthy future.
A graduate of UC Santa Barbara in Communications, she is a certified personal trainer with the American College of Sports Medicine. Kathryn teaches FORM as an adjunct instructor at Pepperdine University and trains staff at Remuda Ranch to lead FORM and Pilates classes.
